Local Author Doc Martenson shares his Christmas Book

Local author and retired pediatrician, "Doc" Martenson, reads his holiday book The Tiny Light That Gave His All...to be a "Star."  Born premature and stricken with polio at a young age, he decided to dedicate his life to caring for children.  

This touching story of a family with little money and a broken, yellow bulb on a set of lights that longs to be a star is best for ages 5-8, however, all ages are welcome to the reading.

Participants will make a simple craft following the story.
