Program Description

Event Details

Join artist/sculptor Ryan Kelley as he teaches you how to cut, wrap, and shape wire into a miniature version of Ryan's life-size tree sculptures.  Each participant will make his/her own wire tree sculpture in any style they choose on a closed-fist-sized rock participants bring to class.  All other tools and materials needed will be provided, and participants will take home their piece of art at the end of the workshop.

Ryan Kelley creatively transforms wire, wood, metal and stone into unique pieces of art. With hundreds of creations and commissioned pieces to his name, his work can be seen in homes and businesses throughout the country and around the world. Over the years his pieces have grown in scale and intricacy, much like his signature trees crafted from hundreds or thousands of wires.  He's received numerous awards for Best Work in Sculpture at associations across the state, and exhibits his work in multiple galleries in other states.  Ryan currently focuses on three main areas: education, studio work, and commissioned work.

Seating is limited so registration is required, and you must be age 18+ to attend.

This program is supported by a grant from the Middleborough Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
